Hello all – I am excited to announce that I will be doing a Stairway series on Azure SQL Database hosted over at SQLServerCentral.com.

The aim of this series is to start gently and is very much intended for readers that have zero knowledge of Azure.  Over the series we will talk about creating Azure accounts, creating logical SQL Servers, SQL Databases ( both with the GUI and code) and other important topics such as firewall rules, purchasing models and important day to day tasks.
