A small but useful change has been made to the Azure Portal for Data Platform objects.
Straightaway more meaningful information is exposed (and centralized), such as the service tier which I really like. Before I had to drill into the actual database to get the information.
As you can see, it is a group collection of any SQL resource, including singleton Azure SQL Database to virtual machines. I like this general view. From a filtering perspective, it is not really ground breaking but just nice to have. For example, you can build an interactive filter query (looks like you could use tags here too).
